How to Install Winlator Frost

Getting started with Winlator@Frost is easy. Follow these simple steps to install and set up the emulator:

1. Download the APK: Get the latest version from the download links above.
2. Install the APK: Open the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to install the application.
3. Launch Winlator: Open the app and wait for the installation process to complete.

How to Use Winlator@Frost

Winlator@Frost offers a range of features to enhance your gaming experience. Here are some useful tips to get the most out of the emulator:

• Performance Optimization: If you experience performance issues, try changing the preset for Box86/Box64 in Container Settings -> Advanced Tab.
• .NET Framework Applications: Install Wine Mono from Start Menu -> System Tools for better compatibility with .NET applications.
• Older Games: If some older games don’t open, add the environment variable MESA_EXTENSION_MAX_YEAR=2003in Container Settings -> Environment Variables.
• Individual Game Settings: Run games using the shortcut on the Winlator home screen to define individual settings for each game.
• Hide DXVK HUD: To hide the annoying DXVK HUD, remove the relevant environment variable.

System Requirements for Winlator@Frost

• Turnip: For Adreno 6xx and 7xx only. Note that Adreno 735, 732, 720, 710, and 613 are not supported and require VirGL.
• VirGL: Universal support for all GPUs including Mediatek, Exynos, Kirin, Unisoc, etc. However, only DX9 games are playable.
• LLVMPIPE: Use this for running software applications (not for gaming).

Known Issues

• Snapdragon 8 Gen 3: Some games may not work or have performance issues.
• XInput Issues: Some games may have issues with virtual gamepads not working.

Bench and Without Bench APK

• Bench: Suitable for users with 2 or more Winlator installations to compare performance.
• Without Bench: For users who do not have any other Winlator installations.
